As Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of an Inc. 500 genomics and biomarker research organization, Mark grew the company into a nationally recognized genomics CRO. Under his leadership, the firm secured multimillion-dollar contracts and partnered with major government health agencies, large healthcare providers, and top-tier research universities. The company was recognized as one of the Inc. 500 Fastest-Growing Companies three years in a row before its successful acquisition. 

Following the company’s successful acquisition by a global leader in data-driven healthcare technology, Mark was employed by one of the world’s leading firms in precision medicine. He provided expertise in genomics and clinical applications, supporting the company’s mission to personalize cancer care through data and AI.

At a major U.S. research university, Mark directed a Center for Medical Genomics and later a cancer institute’s biomarker service center. He built one of the leading academic genomics service hubs in the country, led collaborations across cardiology, neurology, psychiatry, and oncology, and helped the university achieve its first-ever national cancer center designation.
